Sunday open thread: Which national NFL analysts do you like the best?

Let’s show some appreciation this Sunday

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Rams Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Detroit Lions fans—along with fans from the 31 other teams— love to claim media bias.

“ESPN hates the Lions.”

“I’m not sure SI.com even knows Detroit exists.”

No team ever gets the attention or respect they deserve. Even Patriots fans cry foul when it comes to their media coverage.

But let’s put that all aside for a second. There are good analysts out there, both in print and video media. Let’s take a moment to celebrate those people.

Today’s Question of the Day is:

Who are some of your favorite national media analysts?

My answer: If we’re talking writers, I thoroughly enjoy ESPN’s Bill Barnwell, The Ringer’s Danny Kelly, and MMQB’s Albert Breer, despite his Buckeye ties and Wolverine trolling

When it comes to on-air personalities, give me Nate Burleson, Dan Orlovsky, Matt Bowen and, perhaps most of all, Greg Cosell.

Mall four of those guys go pretty hard on film analysis—what I appreciate the most—and do so without being too over-the-top with their personalities.

Your turn. Show some love.
