The pads are on, the sun is out, and we’re just over a week away from the Detroit Lions’ first preseason game. Before you know it, the regular season will be here and our long nightmare will be over.
Sunday morning the Lions will take the field for their fourth straight game—something they won’t do at all during the regular season. But these are the dog days of the summer for the players. It’s hot. It’s humid. It’s time to go to work.
Speaking of going to work, the Pride of Detroit staff will be in full force on Sunday. Mike Payton will be working the media stands, so be sure you’re following him on Twitter @POD_Payton.
Meanwhile, myself (@DetroitOnLion/@PrideOfDetroit), Alex Reno (@alex_reno) and Kent Lee Platte (@MathBomb) will be hanging with the fans. Come say hi to us if you’re going to be in Allen Park today!
If you’re not going to be there in person, stick right here. We’ll be providing live updates via Twitter in the embedded Twitter list below.
(If you don’t see the list, you can view it right here.)
