We’ve made it to peak Summer here in the United States – Independence Day.
The Detroit Lions don’t start training camp for another few weeks, opening up for season ticket holders on Thursday, July 25. And games don’t start for another month.
That most likely gives us all a few weeks, starting today, of football-free fun.
So, today’s Question of the Day is:
What are you doing for the 4th of July?
My answer: I’m planning on heading up north (definitely a Michigan thing to do) with the family and spend the weekend with my wife and kids at my parent’s house.
If the weather is nice, we’re planning on doing some golfing, shooting clay pigeons, smoking a brisket, and drinking some beer – at least that’s what I plan I doing; my wife and kids may have other ideas.
Now it’s your turn. What are you doing? Barbecuing? Swimming? Something else? Feel free to chat in the comment section about the holiday or anything that you plan on doing this summer.
Happy Independence Day!
