WATCH: Glover Quin shares awesome, heartfelt retirement video

It’s clear Quin is excited to become a full-time family man.

As broken by ESPN’s Michael Rothstein on Tuesday morning, former Detroit Lions safety Glover Quin is retiring from the NFL after 10 seasons. A few hours after the story broke, the man himself took to Instagram and shared an awesome video recapping his NFL career while also making it clear he’s excited to enter the next chapter in his life.

The video kicks off with a montage of the best interceptions of his career, with Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” playing in the background.

“It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me and I’m feeling good,” Simone sings as the video transitions to a video of his son talking to the camera.

“My dad retiring from football after 10 years. Now my dad can take me to school everyday,” he said..

As the video continues, it becomes a slideshow of Glover and his family. Anyone who has paid attention over the past few years knows just how important family is to Quin and you can see the excitement through this video just how excited he is to become a full-time family man.

The caption of the video reads:
