Ask POD: Preseason panic!

Friday the Detroit Lions are off, so it’s the perfect time for another mailbag. Tensions are high after a rough preseason opener and another set of hot-and-cold practices with the Houston Texans this week.

Are the Lions screwed? Are we too prone to overreaction this time of year? How much does last year’s ugly preseason stick in our heads?

There are plenty of questions to be asked, and I’ll do my best to provide some answers. Additionally, any overflow from my mailbag column on Friday will go into the PODcast mailbag pool.
