Day 2 of the Detroit Lions joint practices with the New England Patriots was easily the most intense of training camp, and probably the most impressive for the Lions. Though Allen Park was filled to the brim with people for the first time all camp, unfortunately not every Lions fan could be in attendance.
So in addition to our observations post and Kent Lee Platte’s stock report, we took to Twitch on Tuesday night to give our impressions of practice and hold a Q&A for fans watching live.
We talked about the P.J. Johnson “fight,” the Lions nice rebound defensively on Tuesday, T.J. Hockenson coming up with another couple big plays, and much, much more. Additionally, we break down the Joe Dahl extension and what it means for the 53-man roster and the starting left guard job.
Then Kent Lee Platte joins as we break down highlights from Monday and Tuesday’s practices. Kent finishes the stream by giving his overall impressions of the team after two weeks of training camp, and he explains why he’s much higher on the team than he was entering August.
