Ask POD: Detroit Lions roster cuts roundup

The Detroit Lions have created their initial 53-man roster, and while there are moves to still be made this weekend, the PODcast can’t wait forever. In order to deliver fresh, hot takes to your earholes on Monday morning, we must convene on Sunday, even if the Lions’ roster moves may continue through the start of the week.

We’re a week away from Lions football and we finally have a pretty good idea of what the roster will look like against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.

There have been surprises along the way and some crazy stories of landing a roster spot against all odds.

So now is the time to analyze the roster and look forward to Week 1. This won’t be a preview podcast—we have First Byte for that—but it will be a general preview of the season and a breakdown of the Lions’ roster.
