The Detroit Lions’ Week 4 inactives are a mixed bag for the team. Starting quarterback Matthew Stafford will play against the Kansas City Chiefs despite a nagging hip injury that popped up on the report on Friday.

The bad news, however, is that wide receiver Danny Amendola and Darius Slay are NOT active and will miss Sunday’s game.

As a result, Lions fifth-round rookie Amani Oruwariye is ACTIVE for the first time today and could see some action against this potent Chiefs passing attack. Additionally, undrafted rookie Tom Kennedy, too, is active and could take some of Amendola’s snaps at the slot receiver position on Sunday.

Also somewhat noteworthy: the Lions have three quarterbacks active for the first time this week. Could be some mild concern about Stafford there, but still the move seems a little odd.

Here are the full Week 4 inactives for both teams.
