LIONS FOOTBALL IS BACK, BABY!

Detroit Lions football is back, and I couldn’t be more excited. The season opens up with an intriguing opponent in the Arizona Cardinals.

We’ve already beaten to death the narrative that Kliff Kingsbury’s offense has been under wraps all season. We’ve also talked endlessly about the Lions’ troubled history against rookie quarterbacks in Week 1. I’ll spare you of both now.

Instead, let’s just sit back and enjoy for a moment this huge feeling of anticipation we’re all experiencing right now. It’s like Christmas morning for adults. Who knows what sits underneath the tree? Is it a playoff win? Is it a lump of 5-11 coal?

I don’t know, but I’m ready to rip apart the wrapping paper and see what’s inside. I’m guessing if you’re here, you’re going through something similar.

Kickoff is about 30 minutes away, so let’s get the chat going right now! Good luck everybody, and GO LIONS!
