Ask POD: All quiet on the coaching front

As many teams finish up their coaching searches for their 2020 staff, the Detroit Lions remain eerily quiet in their search. Of course, that’s how the Lions operate, as we learned last year when the team surprised everyone by announcing the hire of offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell despite his name never coming up and zero rumors about him even scoring an interview.

Sure, the Lions did make a couple of promotions this week, but we are all eagerly awaiting the crucial choices this team will make with their defensive staff. And with the Senior Bowl just a couple of weeks away, the Lions will have to move quickly in the shadows to get everything in place before that big week in Mobile.
