How to watch NFC Wild Card games: Kickoff time, TV channel, online streaming, more

Here’s how to catch Sunday’s NFC Wild Card games.

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The AFC portion of Wild Card weekend turned out to be quite a sight. First the Texans fought back after the Bills took a commanding lead. Then the Patriots dynasty finally toppled and we’ll never hear from Tom Brady or Bill Belichick again*.

Now it’s time for the NFC to take the stage. Many of the best teams in the NFL reside in the NFC, and while we’ll have to wait to see teams like the 49ers and Packers take the stage, Sunday will provide a good glimpse into the depth of this conference.

First, the Minnesota Vikings will try to shake off a disappointing end to the season by heading down to New Orleans to take on a Saints team that has been rolling for most of the year. They’ve lost just three games all season while maintaining one of the best point differentials in the league (+117, fifth).

Then it’s off to Philly, where the Eagles managed to sneak into the playoffs after a huge Week 16 win over the Cowboys. Despite finishing with just a 9-7 record, they get to host an 11-5 Seahawks team that just barely missed out on the NFC West crown after failing to punch in a goal-to-go situation against the 49ers in the waning seconds of Week 17.
