The Lions have had a messy start to the season, and it has quickly led to talk of a regime change. Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia are tied to one another, and the writing is on the wall for the both of them. It has become a matter of when, not if, they’re gone, barring a miracle by this Lions team.
Question of the day: Will the Lions clean house before the season is over?
My answer: If they keep the way they are now, no.
They’re already 1-3 with a slate of very easy next seven or eight games ahead. If the Lions lose games against the bad teams the way they’ve lost three of their first four, I don’t think ownership gives Quinn and Patricia the grace of the rest of the season.
It doesn’t help that there have been two regime changes already. Seats are as hot as ever and if the season is lost already, the Lions may want to get a headstart on the search for their new leadership.
