The last time the Detroit Lions and the Atlanta Falcons faced off, [THE SECOND HALF OF THIS SENTENCE HAS BEEN REMOVED DUE TO A 10-WORD RUNOFF].

This time around, both teams enter Week 7 in desperation mode. For the Falcons, the hammer has already dropped. Gone are their head coach and general manager after an 0-5 start. However, that appears to have ignited a fire, as the Falcons tore apart the Vikings last week.

Meanwhile, the Lions, too, came out of Week 6 strong after rethinking their 1-3 trajectory out of the bye week. Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn remain, but their leashes remain short, and a loss to a 1-5 Falcons team wouldn’t exactly be a great encore performance after last week’s convincing win over the Jaguars.

The Lions are in their all-grey uniforms. The Falcons are wearing their weird gradient uniforms. It’s a big NFC showdown between teams just hoping they can cling to whatever hope remains.

Come watch and discuss in the comment section below. I’ll also be providing live commentary on Twitch with my good friend Jon Blevins. You can watch that below:
