It may not be Victory Monday anymore, but the Detroit Lions haven’t won back-to-back games in over a year, so let’s let this one spill over into Tuesday a little bit.
After their highly-improbable win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, the Lions are now 3-3 and appear to be making some honest-to-goodness improvements on their team. They still have a long ways to go to prove they can contend with the rest of the league—wins over two 1-6 teams aren’t going to sway a lot of people’s opinions. However, there’s no problem with celebrating a little when things are going right. Winning three out of four games is an accomplishment, regardless of who the opponents are or how many errors they made in your favor.
So let’s enjoy this locker room celebration courtesy of the Detroit Lions multimedia crew. They gave us a cool sneak peek into the locker room in Atlanta, as Reggie Ragland sported his oversized boombox and Marvin Jones Jr. turned the room into his own personal dance floor.
Then Matt Patricia rallies the troops with a post-game speech that finishes with some well-earned props to Matthew Stafford.
