The Detroit Lions have yet to make the Everson Griffen trade official, but Griffen took to Twitter on Tuesday night and essentially confirmed it himself.

First, he gave a classy goodbye to the Dallas Cowboys, showing his appreciation for the opportunity.

“This year has been a journey for my family,” Griffen tweeted. “I was so blessed to be able to spend this time with the Dallas Cowboys. I want to thank the Jones family and Coach McCarthy for the opportunity.”

A couple minutes later, he turned his attention to the Detroit Lions, and you can just see the excitement dripping off the tweet.

“Our journey continues to the great city of Detroit. To the Detroit fans, y’all are getting a motherf*ckin dog ready to eat.@Lions

Thank you for blessing my family with another opportunity to bEGreat [sic]. I can’t f*ckin wait. See y’all tomorrow.

Believe me, Everson. The feeling is mutual. We can’t f*ckin wait, either.
