Somehow, we’re already near the halfway point in the 2020 NFL season, which means we’re just now starting to figure out who some of these teams truly are. We know, for certain, that the New York Jets are really bad, and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs are really good.
There are still some meddling teams—the Lions and Colts will prove which team is meddling-er this week—but there is definitely some separation happening as we creep into November.
Week 8 will again provide us with an important data point for a lot of these teams. Can the Chicago Bears rebound from Monday night’s embarrassment and beat a good Saints team? How will the Seahawks respond to an exhausting divisional loss to the Cardinals when they have to follow it up with yet another NFC West rival (the 49ers) this week? And how will Tua Tagovailoa look in his first career NFL start against an impressive Rams defense?
Many questions will be answered, but our staff made their best guesses as to what will happen in Week 8 of the NFL right now. Here are our picks for this weekend’s slate of games.
