The real Detroit Lions may have picked up their first win of the season last week over the Arizona Cardinals, but the virtual Detroit Lions are still 0-3 in our weekly Madden 21 simulations. For whatever reason, the EA developers don’t seem to like the Lions too much, as virtual Matthew Stafford looks like Mitchell Trubisky if he was wearing anvils for shoes.
But with every week, a new hope begins. The Saints are a whopping 93 rating on Madden 21, but with six starters out—and we’ll be sure to take them out of the virtual lineup—what does that ranking drop to. No Michael Thomas pulling in 30 catches a game. No Marcus Davenport putting pressure on Stafford. No Janoris Jenkins nor Marshon Lattimore to cover Kenny Golladay and company.
Both the real and the virtual Lions have a good shot at the Saints this week, as there may not be a better week to face this reeling team.
So join us at 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday morning on our Twitch page to see if the virtual Lions can get their first win of the season.
