NFL Week 5 picks: NFC North teams in trouble

The Bears and Vikings face difficult matchups in Week 5.

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL’s Week 5 slate of games isn’t the most exciting, but maybe that’s good for Detroit Lions fans. Maybe a week off from football is just what we need to physically and emotionally recover from a month’s worth of... well, ugly football.

But if you’re a football junkie, and I know there are a lot of you out there, you’re not going to waste a single week of the NFL season. Unfortunately, the best game on this week’s schedule—Titans vs. Bills—looks more and more unlikely to actually happen. Still, if you need football the way I currently need a good team to cover, let us allow our semi-professional opinion on this week’s slate of games.

As you can see below, there’s not a lot of disagreement among the games this week. We’re all taking the Buccaneers over the Bears on Thursday night, we’ve all got the Cardinals over the Jets, the Rams over Washington, the Chiefs over the Raiders, the Cowboys over the Giants and the Seahawks over the Vikings.

Still, there are some games we’re split on. Jaguars or Texans? Browns or Colts?

Check out our picks below and let us know who you’re taking in the comment section below.
