NFL Week 8 picks: Detroit Lions vs. Indianapolis Colts score predictions

A look at who we’re picking to win the Lions’ Week 8 matchup.

NFL: AUG 13 Preseason - Lions at Colts

With the trade deadline in two days and both teams walking the line between buyer and seller, Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts (4-2) and Detroit Lions (3-3) could be a pivotal one for each team. Win and you’ve built some legitimacy to your overall record and playoffs suddenly become a real conversation piece. Lose, and all your worst fears will come to the surface and it may be time to go back to the drawing board for the final two months of the season.

With huge questions surrounding both teams, it should probably come as no surprise that the Pride of Detroit staff is split in half when it comes to predicting this big Week 8 game. Seven of us are taking the Lions as home underdogs. Six of us are picking the Colts as road favorites. Again, we’re all expecting a tight game on Sunday, as all but one of us (Mansur) have this as a one-score game.

Take a look.
