Prior to halftime in the Colts-Lions match on Sunday, wide receiver Kenny Golladay left the game with a groin injury. At the time, the Lions announced that he was questionable to return, and he went to see trainers.
However, in the third quarter, the team downgraded his status to OUT, officially ruling him a scratch for the rest of the match against Indianapolis, leaving the Lions without their star wide receiver.

Golladay was zero for four on targets in the game before leaving. The Lions have been leaning on other targets through the day, with T.J. Hockenson getting the lion’s share (pun intended) of work through three quarters.
More details regarding Golladay’s injury were not immediately available. With speculation abounding about Golladay potentially on the trade block, his health will remain a matter of intense speculation, whether the Lions intend to keep him as part of their future plans or not.
