On this week’s Man Coverage show we have The Athletic’s Detroit Lions beat writer Chris Burke. We discuss what’s wrong with the Lions, what he thinks about special teams coordinator Brayden Coombs and the idea of him taking over as the Lions head coach if Matt Patricia is terminated. Then conversation turns to the potentially bleak future of the Lions on the other side of 2020.

Chris also gets personal, and describes his time at Sports Illustrated, his early life in sports, and his first memories of loving to write. Then he talks about some surreal moments in his career, like his trip on a private plane to Alabama with Matt Patricia and being outside the locker room when Peyton Manning left following Super Bowl 50.

In the lightning round, Chris tries to take the 2020 New York Jets to a win but disappoints on one of the biggest questions of the show. Tune in!
