Ask POD: What do we do now?

Our weekly mailbag is firing up again.

As the Detroit Lions’ season begins to nosedive again, it’s feeling more and more like a lame duck season. Though head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn still have time and opportunities to turn things around—after all, we’re only halfway through the season—confidence that they will get that done is at an all-time low.

However, it appears ownership may let the two ride this one out, giving them every last chance to pull themselves out of their crater. So that begs the question: What do we do in the meantime?

We’ve got two months left of the season, and while we’ll continue to provide our normal coverage—previews, post-game analysis, etc.—we recognize that many of you have (or will) check out on Sundays. We don’t blame you. These games haven’t been very fun as of late and sometimes it just feels like a rerun from the previous week.

So for the rest of the season, we’re going to reach out to you about our coverage. What do you want to talk about? What should we be covering?

We’ll try every Thursday to create a Lions mailbag so that we can answer all of your burning questions. You can submit your questions in the comment section below or via Twitter using the hashtag #AskPOD. We will answer your questions either on the subsequent podcast or in a written post (or both, if we get enough good questions).

So hit us with your questions in the comment section below, and be sure to tune in at 7 p.m. ET Thursday night on our Twitch channel to see if we pick your question.
