The Detroit Lions weren’t back at practice on Monday after their shutout loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 11, but because the team is just four days away from their next game, they are required to send in an estimated injury report. As they prepare for the Houston Texans on Thanksgiving, it appears Detroit could be even more shorthanded than last week.
Detroit’s initial estimated injury report features 16 different players, six new injuries and just a single injury upgrade from last week.
The new additions this week include Mike Ford (concussion), Jeff Okudah (shoulder), Jonah Jackson (ankle), Reggie Ragland (ankle), Marvin Hall (toe) and T.J. Hockenson. The good news is that only Ford and Okudah were listed as “no practice.” Everyone else was limited. However, that could leave Detroit quite shorthanded at the cornerback position this week, so keep an eye on Dee Virgin, who is currently on the practice squad.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear D’Andre Swift has made any progress yet through his concussion protocol, as the Lions rookie running back remains designated as “no practice.” The good news is that Pro Bowl receiver Kenny Golladay is listed as “limited,” an upgrade after missing the final two practices of last week and Sunday’s game.
