Interview: Herman Moore chats about the 1995 Lions and picks the next GM

Get to know Lions legendary receiver Herman Moore.

1994 NFC Wild Card Playoff Game - Detroit Lions vs Green Bay Packers - December 31, 1994

This week’s episode of Man Coverage was a lot of fun. Detroit Lions legend Herman Moore came on the show to talk about his draft night, how the 1995 Lions flipped their season around, whether or not he’s played as himself on NFL Football 94 for Sega, how important Detroit is to him and what he’s got going on now.

He also breaks down what’s wrong with the Lions right now and gives his thoughts on the current coaching staff. Moore suggests a very interesting choice for who he thinks should be the Lions net general manager. Plus the former Lions receiver gives us his thoughts on why Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson retired early.

In one of the most fun lightning rounds yet, we talked Otis Redding, shared our Tony Montana impressions with each other, did not bring up pineapple on pizza, and I got the former receiver’s thoughts on quarterback wins. You’re not going to want to miss this one!
