This Thanksgiving is not going to be a traditional for almost anyone in America. It’s been a dreary year, and sometimes that sort of thing is only highlighted during the holidays. So if you’re missing loved ones today, or just feeling a general sense of malaise, I’m sorry.
Hopefully here at Pride of Detroit, we can provide some sort of sense of community and family for your 2020 Thanksgiving. Sure, we’re stuck with this sad Detroit Lions franchise that has nearly every important starter on the sideline this week, but at least we have a group of people to grieve with.
So while nothing is set in stone yet, and maybe the Lions come out and surprise against Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans on Thursday afternoon, the overarching point is that we have each other and nothing on the field will change that.
So enjoy your Thanksgiving, and go Lions!
