PHOTO: Owner Sheila Ford Hamp couldn’t even watch the Lions get plastered by the Texans

Yeah, that’s exactly how we feel, too.

With 12:09 remaining in the fourth quarter of their Thanksgiving Day Classic, the Detroit Lions were in a pit of despair they were clearly not getting out of. After sloppy plays and turnovers marred what would’ve been a manageable first half, the Lions completely imploded in the second half.

Embarrassment reached a boiling over point when the Houston Texans, already up 17 points, pulled a trick play that released Will Fuller V into a secondary that had completely forgotten about him. The Texans were up 34-17 and the Lions were primed to get blown out for the fourth time in five games—and this one for all the world to see.

Things had reached such a fever pitch that Lions owner Sheila Ford Hamp couldn’t even bare to watch any more. MLive photographer Mike Mulholland—who we interviewed on our podcast a couple weeks ago—caught this absolutely amazing photo that captures exactly how we all feel right now.

Yep.

Now what are you going to do about it?
