Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford missed practice on Wednesday as he was placed on reserve/COVID-19 Wednesday. His status for Sunday’s game is now very much in doubt, and several other starters may be missing from that contest with the Minnesota Vikings.

Wide receiver Kenny Golladay, left tackle Taylor Decker, safety Tracy Walker, offensive lineman Halapoulivaati Vaitai and punt returner/receiver Jamal Agnew also were sidelined Wednesday. Throw in Trey Flowers’ trip to injured reserve, and suddenly the injury bug has hit the Lions hard.

While Decker fought through an shoulder injury last week, this week he is listed with a back injury. Meanwhile, Golladay’s hip injury was suffered in the first half of the game against the Colts and did not return. Early reports suggest he’ll miss Sunday’s game, but head coach Matt Patricia called his injury “day-by-day” and “week-by-week.” As for Walker (foot) and Agnew (ribs), the severity of their injuries unknown. Vaitai is dealing with a foot issue that has been lingering for weeks now.

And that’s not where the bad news ends. The Lions also had six other players limited on Wednesday, including tight end T.J. Hockenson (toe) and defensive tackle Danny Shelton (wrist).

Here’s a look at their entire injury report for Wednesday.
