Lions - Vikings injury report: Kenny Golladay, Tracy Walker OUT vs. Vikings

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Detroit Lions Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions will be missing at least two starters for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, potentially more. Wide receiver Kenny Golladay and safety Tracy Walker have already been declared out, as well as punt and kick returner Jamal Agnew.

To help accommodate a beat-up receiver room, the Lions signed Mohamed Sanu to the practice squad, and he could be promoted to the active squad. However, the Lions do have Marvin Hall and Quintez Cephus on the 53-man roster, and both should see some playing time against the Vikings.

The Lions are also dealing with some injuries on the offensive line, but they mostly got good news on Friday. Both Halapoulivaati Vaitai and Taylor Decker were full participants in practice, and while Vaitai is still questionable for Sunday, Decker was not given an injury designation and will play. Rotating guard Joe Dahl is also questionable but trending towards not playing, as he’s now missed two consecutive practices.

That being said, cornerback Desmond Trufant was not given an injury designation, meaning he will return after missing the past two weeks with a lingering hamstring injury. Trufant has only played in two games this season, so it will be interesting to see how the Lions use him against an impressive Vikings set of receivers.

As for the Vikings, they will indeed be without almost all of their cornerback depth. In addition to Mike Hughes remaining on injured reserve, the Vikings have already declared Cameron Dantzler, Mark Fields II and Holton Hill out for this game. Harrison Hand, who was limited in practice all week, is questionable with a hamstring injury. That leaves Kris Boyd, Jeff Gladney, and former Lion Chris Jones as the only fully healthy cornerbacks on the roster right now, though Minnesota could promote a player or two from the practice squad.

Lions final injury report:

WR Jamal Agnew (ribs) - Out
WR Kenny Golladay (hip) - Out
S Tracy Walker (foot) - Out
OL Joe Dahl (back) - Questionable
OL Halapoulivaati Vaitai (foot) - Questionable
LB Christian Jones (knee) - Questionable
CB Darryl Roberts (hip/groin) - Questionable

Vikings final injury report:

CB Holton Hill (foot) - OUT
CB Mark Fields II (chest) - OUT
CB Cameron Dantzler (concussion) - OUT
CB Harrison Hand (hamstring) - Questionable
