Monday Night Football open thread: Patriots at Jets

It could be an ugly Monday nighter.

The AFC East is not as awful as the NFC East, but tonight’s two teams are near the bottom of the barrel.

The New England Patriots are still struggling in the post-Brady era. A near-victory last week against the Bills was foiled by a Cam Newton fumble, extending their losing streak to four games. With practically no dependable targets for Newton, the team will have to rely on Damien Harris to carry the offense.

The New York Jets barely qualify as an NFL team, and as a result, they will barely get a write-up. Are you excited to watch Joe Flacco lead the offense? Are you also excited to watch paint dry?

Here’s how to watch tonight’s game:

Date: Monday, November 9, 2020
Time: 8:15 p.m. ET
Location: MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford, NJ
TV: ESPN
Announcers: Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick & Lisa Salters
Online: Watch ESPN, NFL Gamepass
