The Detroit Lions have new life. After the firing of Matt Patricia, interim head coach Darrell Bevell has the team looking fun again. Well, at least with a sample size of one.
This week, they host a Green Bay Packers team that lokos to be among the elite in the NFL. Unlike last year’s 13-3 pretender squad, this year’s Packers are steamrolling teams thanks to a career year from Aaron Rodgers and an innovative offense by second-year coach Matt LaFleur.
But the Lions have always played the Packers tough, even in the Patricia era (well, except for that Week 2 game). Green Bay comes in as over touchdown favorites to Detroit, and almost everyone on staff agrees with the line.
But can the Lions shock the world and make a real run at the playoffs? Come watch Sunday’s game with us and chat in the comment section below.
Go Lions!
