Games with big playoff implications are on the docket.

Boy, that was an exciting slate of early games, wasn’t it? Personally, I though it was awesome when that player did that thing, just when I thought it wasn’t possible he could do that thing. But he did!

And now that the playoff picture is just a little bit clearer thanks to that one team beating the other team, it’s time to make the situation even clearer, because this late afternoon set of games has some big ones on deck.

All eyes will be on Rams vs. Seahawks, as Seattle tries to desperately hold onto that NFC West lead over Los Angeles. Of course, this matchup was made a little less exciting thanks to the Rams’ meltdown loss to the Jets last week, but if they win out, they’ll still have a chance to earn that division crown. That being said, with the Cardinals’ loss on Saturday, their chances at making the playoffs are at a comfortable 93 percent.

Elsewhere the NFC East will be highlighted in the late slate of games as the Washington Football Team, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys fight to win that division title that no one seems to want to win.

Of course, if you’re a Lions fan, this slate of games should mean a lot to you. There are a lot of bad teams playing, and that means it’s time for draft position rooting!

Here’s the late slate of games, along with who you should be rooting for as a Lions fan.
