The playoffs are on the horizon for the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers, and tonight’s edition of Sunday Night Football could be crucial to seeding.
The Packers are the top dog in the NFC right now with a record of 11-3. With just a single first round bye this season, Green Bay is looking to stay ahead of the Saints. A four game win streak gives Aaron Rodgers and company a decent amount of momentum, but beating up on the Bears, Eagles, Lions, and Panthers is a different story from Tennessee.
The Titans are 10-4, and while that puts them atop the AFC South, a logjam exists behind them. The Colts sit just behind Tennessee, and they, the Browns, Dolphins, and Ravens are all vying for Wild Card spots. If the Titans fall behind the Colts, they could find themselves in a difficult situation. A win tonight would not only prove themselves to be a playoff-caliber team, but also help get them there.
