NFL Combine week is finally here, and this year, things will run a little differently. The NFL, fully acknowledging that the Combine has now become a national event that can actually draw some ratings, has moved the athletic drills—which previously happened in the middle of the day—into primetime. No longer will you have to stream men in their undies running a straight line while you hover over the boss button like this was March Madness. You just need to push “The Masked Singer” down the DVR priority list this week.
Festivities in Indianapolis are technically already underway, but the drills the Combine has become famous for don’t truly begin until Thursday, February 27. Still, for the analytics lovers out there, here’s a full schedule of this week’s events, including measurement days, interview days, and for Detroit Lions fans, times in which general manager Bob Quinn and head coach Matt Patricia will speak with the media.
