Graham Glasgow is heading west.
The beloved former Detroit Lions right guard is signing a four-year, $44 million contract with the Denver Broncos according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The deal includes $26 million in guaranteed money.
Glasgow was a huge part of the Lions’ offensive line since the Lions drafted him in the third round in 2016. He started at center and both guard spots, yet for whatever reason, the Lions showed little interest in re-signing him this offseason.
Instead, the Lions are reportedly handing Halapoulivaati Vaitai a four-year deal worth $40 million to be their starting right tackle after releasing Rick Wagner last week.
Detroit still has a significant hole at right guard, as Kenny Wiggins and Oday Aboushi are both also facing free agency right now. Earlier in the year, the Lions did sign former first-round pick Josh Garnett, but the former 49er has struggled with injury and hasn’t started a game since his rookie season.
