Ask POD: 2 weeks until the NFL Draft

The last month has been tough, but we’re almost there. Free agency is pretty much behind us, and while we all still wait to formally meet them face-to-face or even to see them put pen to paper, the NFL moves on.

We’re now under two weeks away from the 2020 NFL Draft, and it promises to be one of the most important in recent Detroit Lions history. With the third overall pick and a potential bounty of picks waiting in a trade down scenario, Detroit can’t afford to squander this opportunity.

But all of that remains projection. We won’t know what the Lions will do—or what they want to do—until that upcoming Thursday night.

So until then, we’re going to continue to speculate and analyze and best-guess our way down the home stretch. We only have two more PODcasts before the draft happens, and we don’t want to waste a minute on them.
