Sunday open thread: What will your draft day setup look like?

We’re definitely running out of things to talk about.

With the coronavirus taking the NFL Draft to a virtual setting, many GMs and coaches have shown off their cool (or not-so-cool) office setups leading up to the big event. Giants general manager Dave Gettleman was ridiculed for his work from home setup in comparison to Chargers GM Tom Telesco, but to be fair to Gettleman, we don’t know if that’s going to be his setup for the actual draft. After all, he did hire four computer folks at the end of last year.

49ers GM John Lynch was on FOX Sports NFL showing off his three landline phones and eight (!) computer/tv screens in front of him. Last year the 49ers had an incredible draft haul and it appears Lynch is trying to give himself every possible advantage to get his team back to the Super Bowl.

As for the Lions, Bob Quinn shared his setup during his press conference call with the Lions media.

Very respectable, Bob.

Today’s Question of the Day is:

What is your setup going to look for the 2020 NFL Draft?

My answer: Either pizza or a plate of buffalo wings is going to be an absolute must on draft night. Probably pizza, because we can’t let the fingers get too messy while patrolling Twitter and watching the draft.

As for electronics, I don’t think I’ll be getting too fancy with it. I’ve got my big screen TV in the living room with a laptop in front of me to browse tweets. Might use a second monitor or laptop for googling, but that might be pushing it.

Oh, can’t forget the beer. At least a few different ones to choose from.

Your turn.
