2020 NFL Draft Round 1 open thread

No more mock drafts. No more unsubstantiated rumors. No more arguing about value and tape and measurables.

Okay, just kidding with that last one. We’re going to be arguing about this for, at the very least, the next three months.

But, point being, THE WAIT IS OVER.

The 2020 NFL Draft is here, and for Detroit Lions fans, that means one of the most exciting days of the entire year has arrived. The Lions hold the third overall pick, and if you believe even one of the rumors being swirled around Thursday, they may be a lot more active than just that.

So as we all sit at home—including the analysts, general managers, and, most importantly, the players themselves—let’s all gather here and enjoy each other’s company. We haven’t had a true “open thread” for a live event since the Super Bowl. Hello again, friends, nice to see you.
