Jeff Okudah is the newest Detroit Lions player, but he’ll only hold that honor for about 24 hours. The 2020 NFL Draft is far from done, and the Lions have plenty of important decisions to still make. Round 2 could arguably be even more important for the Lions, as they hold a total of three picks in the second and third rounds.
As it currently stands, Detroit is just three picks away with the 35th overall selection. Will the Lions continue to grow their defense, or will they make a surprise pick like Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurst? Or will we finally see general manager Bob Quinn make a Day 2 trade.
Quinn has had a very up-and-down history in Day 2 of his drafts. Round 2 has been fairly ugly for Quinn’s draft history, with guys like Teez Tabor, A’Shawn Robinson and Kerryon Johnson not quite reaching their potential.
However, Round 3 has inarguably been Quinn’s best round historically. He landed Kenny Golladay, Tracy Walker and Graham Glasgow all in Round 3.
Will that trend continue tonight? Come watch with us.
