2020 Detroit Lions draft class: List of all 9 selections

A look at the Detroit Lions’ entire 2020 draft class.

The Detroit Lions finished off their 2020 NFL Draft class with nine selections. After starting off the draft class with a pair of defensive impact players in cornerback Jeff Okudah and edge defender Julian Okwara with two of the first three picks, the Lions went heavy on their offense.

What followed was four straight picks on offense, including back-to-back picks at guard and a couple of skill-position weapons.

This draft was a mix of players we expected to be liked by the Lions (Okudah, Okwara) mixed with some serious surprises, including grabbing a running back with their second-round pick.

Unlike certain expectations, the Lions didn’t grab a punter nor a quarterback, and they waited until late in Day 3 to pick a wide receiver. Still, early returns on their draft class were overwhelmingly positive. A somewhat quiet and understated Day 3 may have taken the sails out of the national winds, though.

You be the judge. Here is your 2020 Detroit Lions Draft Class.

Round 1, Pick 3 - OSU CB Jeff Okudah
Round 2, Pick 3 (35 overall) - Georgia RB D’Andre Swift
Round 3, Pick 3 (67) - Notre Dame EDGE Julian Okwara
Round 3, Pick 11 (75) - OSU G Jonah Jackson
Round 4, Pick 15 (121) - Kentucky G Logan Stenberg
Round 5, Pick 21 (166) - Wisconsin WR Quintez Cephus
Round 5, Pick 27 (172) - New Mexico State RB Jason Huntley
Round 6, Pick 18 (197) - Utah DT John Penisini
Round 7, Pick 21 (235) - OSU DL Jashon Cornell
