We’ve known who the Detroit Lions were going to be playing against in 2020 for a while. What was still unclear was when the games would be played.
And while there is still some uncertainty to when and how NFL games will be played this upcoming season, the NFL is still planning to release their full schedule tonight, Thursday May 7.
As a reminder here is a full list of who the Lions will be playing against in 2020:
Home opponents:
Packers (13-3)
Bears (8-8)
Vikings (10-6)
Saints (13-3)
Buccaneers (7-9)
Texans (10-6)
Colts (7-9)
Washington (3-13)
Away opponents
Packers (13-3)
Bears (8-8)
Vikings (10-6)
Titans (9-7)
Jaguars (6-10)
Panthers (5-11)
Falcons (7-9)
Cardinals (5-10-1)
With that in mind, here is today’s question of the day:
Which opponent are you most excited to play next season?
My Answer: Washington
I’m excited for the Lions to play Washington for a few reasons:
- There’s a level of revenge the Lions could get after getting beaten by them last season
- They are a non-division opponent that the Lions don’t typical play against
- I can’t wait to watch Chase Young as a pro (even if it is chasing down Matthew Stafford)
- It’s a home game
- The Lions should have a decent shot at beating them
So, what do you think? Which opponent is most intriguing to you and why?
Your turn.
