Wednesday open thread: What’s your favorite Lions jersey that you own?

So many to choose from.

I waited in line outside of T.J. Maxx earlier today to get a quick shop in; I’m not an avid T.J. Maxx-goer, but it was brought to my attention yesterday that they had Darius Slay youth jerseys on clearance for $11. I got a youth large as a gift for a friend but that youth large honestly fits 6-foot me because the NFL makes jerseys about eight sizes too large.

That’s the third Lions jersey I have for now, the other being a clearanced Ameer Abdullah jersey I got for $30 at Dick’s Sporting Goods before the Lions announced their new jersey design in March of 2018, and the third being a Calvin Johnson jersey I received as a holiday gift eight years ago.

Question of the day: What’s your favorite Lions jersey that you own?

Mine has gotta be the Megatron jersey—as a gift, and for a player who will go down as a Lions/NFL legend, it’s pretty darn cool to have hanging in my closet.

While on the topic of clearanced jerseys, it’s worth noting that the NFL online shop carries stock of jerseys that go wayyy back. When I last checked on there earlier this year, there was still a Reebok Ndamukong Suh jersey in XXL, among other nostalgic names. I should offer a disclaimer though that “clearance” on there likely means $50-60.

With that, it’s your turn: which of your Lions jerseys is your favorite? Let’s hear it.
