Detroit Lions training camp preview: Biggest defensive camp battles, roster predictions

Detroit Lions players will report to training camp on Tuesday, which means training camp is officially underway. While it’s true normal practices won’t happen for another two weeks, we’re one step closer to football actually being played, and let’s just hold onto that hope for now.

So to kick things off, the PODcast turns its attention to the defensive side of the ball this week, as we preview Detroit Lions 2020 training camp. (If you missed last week, we covered the offense here.) Who will win the starting positions, which players are on the roster bubble, which training camp battles will be the most heated and entertaining?

We answer all of those questions with special guest John Whiticar this week filling in for Ryan Mathews. We also answer all of your questions in our mailbag, try to guess who the 2020 defensive captains will be and talk about Saturday’s big charity event we’re throwing.
