The Detroit Lions are out in the sweltering heat Sunday morning to get back at it. We’re exactly three weeks until the start of the regular season and not a moment can be wasted.
The pads are reportedly back on today after a day in shells on Saturday, and the Lions could be a little more healthy than expected. During his Sunday morning press conference, head coach Matt Patricia said the only two players being held out of practice are tight end Hunter Bryant—who suffered a lower-body injury on Saturday—and running back Bo Scarbrough, who has missed several practices now.
That could mean that rookies Jeff Okudah and D’Andre Swift, who both missed yesterday’s practice (Okudah started but didn’t finish the practice), will be back in action for practice.
Pride of Detroit won’t be there on Sunday to give you first-hand observations, so we’ll be tracking Twitter for the latest news. As always, we’ll give you access to those live updates with our Twitter list below.
