Ask POD: Training camp offering more questions than answers

Got questions about Lions training camp? Send them our way.

NFL: Detroit Lions-Minicamp Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

We’re a week into Detroit Lions training camp, and though we came in with a lot of questions, we may have even more now. Sure, it looks like we got our answer about Jonah Jackson being the starting guard, and we have a bit of a clearer look on how the team will use their linebackers.

But a ton of questions remain about the team’s depth chart. How will the Lions fit all of their weapons at wide receiver and running back on the 53-man roster? Who will be those depth pieces along the offensive line with a guy like rookie Logan Stenberg moving to center?

And on defense, things are even less clear. Is Desmond Trufant healthy? Is Jeff Okudah going to be ready for a starting role Week 1? Why are the Lions repping Tracy Walker—arguably their best defensive player—with the second-team?

This week on the PODcast, we’re going to try as answer as many of these questions as possible. If there’s something you specifically want to know about, now is your chance to get those questions answered.

In the comment section below or on Twitter using the hashtag #AskPOD send us all your training camp questions. Given that y’all likely have a lot of questions, I’m willing to do a written post this week, too.

Please don’t forget to subscribe to the PODcast. You can catch it in three different ways now: via your favorite podcast app, on our YouTube page or live on Twitch at 8 p.m. ET on Monday nights.
