The Rowe Report: Sports leagues are lost without us fans in the stands

All these poor teams - what will they do without us?

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, sports leagues around the world have been forced to make tough decisions. That means many haven’t and won’t allow fans to attend games.

Personally, I can’t help but feel so sorry for the players. They’re out there giving it their all without us — loving, adoring, supportive fans — in the stands.

The NFL season opens this week and while each team has its own attendance policies, at least 26 won’t allow fans at their opening games.

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on just some of the things these poor, poor players and staff will miss out on.
