The Detroit Lions kick off against the Green Bay Packers at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, and that means the national broadcast is sure to fawn over Aaron Rodgers for three straight hours, especially after his impressive Week 1 performance. If you’re here reading these words, that probably sounds like a nightmare to you.
Luckily, we here at Pride of Detroit are here to provide you an alternate to this horrible reality. This year, we’re providing live commentary and a virtual watch party for Lions fans sick of hearing inaccurate or downright annoying announcing during the game.
I will be joining my good friend Jonathan Blevins on the Super Squares Twitch channel to give you live commentary and up-to-the-second analysis of the game. Meanwhile, you can chat with fellow Lions fans as we watch our team... hopefully do some good stuff. Jon is a huge Lions fans, so be sure to come with some energy and excitement, because he’s got loads of it.
But that’s not all. We’re also giving away cash prizes to viewers who decide to participate in our free Super Squares contest. If you download the app (free), make some predictions, watch some ads, answer some questions about the game, and win your Squares (randomly selected), you can win! There’s a lot more information on the contest here.
Here’s the too long; didn’t read version:
