It’s official. Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay will make his 2020 NFL debut on Sunday. Golladay is officially ACTIVE for Week 3’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, giving the Lions a much-needed offensive weapon that they’ve been missing over the first two weeks of the season.

Starting right tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai is also active for the first time this year, and is expected to start. Previously, backup swing tackle Tyrell Crosby had been starting for the team in the first two games.

Also back in the lineup this week is rookie edge defender Julian Okwara. Last week, Okwara was a healthy scratch, leading many to questions head coach Matt Patricia’s personnel decision making.

Detroit will be missing starting cornerback Desmond Trufant, who was downgraded to out earlier this weekend. That means rookie cornerback Jeff Okudah will be making his second career start this week.
