It appears Detroit Lions rookies D’Andre Swift and Jeff Okudah finally have new jersey numbers. According to the team’s official website, Swift will be wearing number 32 this year, while cornerback Jeff Okudah has No. 30.

The two had to switch numbers from their training camp jerseys because of NFL rules. Swift’s No. 6 and Okudah’s No. 1 did not fall into the mandatory range for 20 to 49 for both defensive backs and running backs.

In addition to those two, a couple other Lions players made some small changes. Jayron Kearse went from 32 to 42, Julian Okwara went from 45 to 99 and Adrian Peterson will be keeping the No. 28 he’s had for most of his career.

The Lions also made some changes to their practice squad numbers: Jalen Elliott went from 42 to 46, Dee Virgin went from 30 to 36, Steven Wirtel went from 49 to 54, and Jonathan Williams went from 36 to 41.
