New Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell is in the building and has officially signed his deal with the franchise, which is reportedly for six years.

Campbell’s introductory press conference hasn’t happened yet, but is expected soon. To hold you over until that moment, the Lions released a quick video of Campbell addressing Lions across the world.

“What’s up, Lions Pride,” Campbell starts. “This is Dan Campbell, new head coach for you guys, man. I’m ready to get going. I’m excited, and we’re going to put Motown back on the map.”

Campbell’s hiring comes just a day after the Lions officially introduced Brad Holmes as the franchise’s next general manager. The two now must embark on an uphill battle to bring this team out of the dumps. Not only do they face the challenge of replacing a roster clearly not competitive enough, but they must also flip a culture that has gone through failed makeover after failed makeover.

Hopefully, they’re as up to the task as they say they are.
