Who do you think is the favorite to land the job?

Now that the Detroit Lions have officially announced the hirings of their new general manager and head coach it’s time for the rest of the staff to start to take form.

There are already strong rumors that Aaron Glenn is headed toward becoming the defensive coordinator, but it’s still unclear who will end up running the offense.

So far we’ve heard nothing on the Darrell Bevell front. He’s presumably still a candidate for the coordinator job, although news came out on Wednesday that the Lions had interviewed the Ravens quarterback coach James Urban for their offensive coordinator job.

Given what we know now, today’s Question of the Day is:

My answer: James Urban

I could be completely wrong here, but unless something goes terribly wrong, I’m not sure why this news would come out if it wasn’t going to happen. There’s also a lot to like about Urban. He has experience inside multiple organizations. And he’s worked alongside Andy Reid and John Harbaugh.

It could be just an interview, but it wouldn’t shock me at all if Urban takes over the offensive play calling.

Your turn.
